How can we determine the use of air density & pressure if we are losing? Basically, this problem of Air Leakage is caused by some specified thermal spaced conditional load that occurs. Generally, it affects the occupied indoor air quality in most commercialized & industrial sectors, the outdoor air that is caused is often by design, the air leakages are a significant reason to any additional designed outdoor airflow. Even in resident buildings, the exchange of indoor-outdoor air is regarded mostly due to air leakages occurred in the cracks of the walls & construction joints and so leads to temperature differences like wind flows, operation of auxiliary fans that are used in kitchen & bathrooms even in industries with the exhaust fans that rotate all day long creating a combustion or excess heating in building’s & factories.

Working of the Fan method:

This test method measures all sorts of air-leakages through a building that is under a controlled pressurization & de-pressurization.This method is liable to smaller temperature differences & even with the low-wind pressures that fluctuate can be skipped.

More over this method is bound to quantify air tightness of any surrounded building, to be clearer in understanding this test method does not measure air changes or air leaks if under normal weather conditions and building operations.If we consider for buildings this method is made to be used for single-zoned buildings. So, for this purpose many or multiple-zoned building’s can be considered as one-single-zoned building by means of opening interior doors or equally pressured adjacent zones.To keep you informed that only the Metric SI or system units of measurements are used for standardized calculation of measuring air pressure, air temperatures & leakages that occur.On a cautionary note this standard does not support any consequences regarding to safety concerns if any, as its only purpose is to measure air units for which it is made for and not for rescue missions.

The standard of this Air pressure measure includes 2 basic procedures i.e. a preferred procedure which is based on ASHRAE51/AMCA210(the procedure) and an optional procedure which is based on non-standardized air flow measurement technique which is commonly used by manufacturers of fan pressurization devices but are not compared with standard airflow measures. The concept behind fan pressurization procedure provides a relative impact of evaluating air-tightness in the building sectors in order for accurate testing results that can be further be determined as how the air flowing rate is to be measured in future by means of using the fan pressurization technique.
